We had a very limited time in Bucharest, so we will definitely be back to uncover more of its secrets and beauty. But in the day we were there, we visited:

Palace of the Parliament – walked around the inside, it’s about 10 euro to visit (from what we could read in Romanian), and since none of us are particularly well versed in Romanian history, we opted out.

Old Town – wandered around the eating district, the shopping district, the towering windows of wedding dresses many floors high and wide, passed buskers, strip clubs, and a seemingly random excavation

IKEA – there’s nothing like shopping somewhere innately chaotic until you visit that same store in a place where there is a 100% language barrier.
